Observe Your Mind Without Following Every Thought
20 mins
In this first practice of The Autopilot Reset Experience, Lauren guides you through a meditation designed to help you notice where your mind naturally goes when you stop giving it something to do. You’ll practice observing thoughts, stories, planning, rumination, and other mental patterns without trying to stop or fix them. Each time you notice that your attention has wandered, you’ll gently label what’s happening and return to your breath. Lauren uses the image of a thought train to help you recognize the difference between getting swept away by a thought and stepping back to simply watch it pass. The goal isn’t to clear your mind. It’s to become more familiar with your patterns, strengthen your ability to observe them, and practice redirecting your attention back to the present moment.
